Our JADE LABEL is a premium line of beard products specially formulated with 6 vitamins and fatty acids to condition, nourish, style and sculpt the tightly-curled, fine hairs of afro-textured beards.

Because of its structure, afro-textured beard hair is often prone to breakage, dryness and frizzing. Included in each JADE LABEL specialized formula is JOJOBA OIL, a wax ester that closely resembles the skin’s natural sebum, and ARGAN OIL, a luxury oil. These oils provide moisture without irritating or drying the skin, or stripping beard hair of its natural moisture. Most importantly,  these oils nourish skin without clogging pores, preventing acne.

There are two additional oils included in Tubb Starr’s JADE LABEL that set it apart from other beard products on the market when it comes to caring for an afro-textured beard.

CAMELLIA SEED is an anti-oxidant, and its oil is stimulating, regenerative and anti-aging. Specifically, it promotes hair growth while moisturizing, nourishing and conditioning the hair and skin.

HEMP SEED OIL is rich in omega fatty acids and includes gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), a healthy fat that is usually lacking from our diet. GLA is rarely found in other beard oil blends; however, GLA has an important role in Tubb Starr’s JADE LABEL.

GLA is a fatty acid necessary for the healthy growth of skin and hair, and it is also known to prevent hair loss. Due to its anti-inflammatory quality, it is also especially beneficial to our afro-textured beard growers in keeping the skin underneath your facial hair nourished and hydrated so that dryness, skin-flaking (beard-druff) and acne can be prevented.
